At COR3, we’re always looking toward the future of architecture and design–particularly when it comes to making building processes more efficient, sustainable, and adaptable. One innovation that has been growing in popularity since 2020 is modular construction. For the uninitiated, modular construction is when different parts of a building are constructed offsite, and later assembled at the construction site.
Recently, our team visited a warehouse under construction in our hometown of Greenville, SC to check on progress. The original design for this project was completed in 2020 as a speculative warehouse in partnership with RealtyLink. Now, it is being upfitted for the needs of its new tenant, American Tire Distributors.
At COR3, we aim to serve our communities beyond the buildings we design. It is a core value and one we hold closely. Recently, we created a program that allows employees to select a nonprofit each quarter for our philanthropic efforts. Our own Amber Choice selected SHARE for the first quarter of 2024, a nonprofit Community Action Agency (CAA) that serves low and moderate-income families in the upstate of South Carolina.

At COR3, we are proud to be a firm made up of majority women. Architecture has historically been a male-dominated profession, with women facing various challenges in terms of representation, advancement opportunities, and leadership roles within firms. However, the intentionality of building a diverse team is an important aspect of the culture at COR3, which is represented through our collaborative, inclusive environment.
COR3 has officially hit the teenage years, and like all teenagers, we’re ready for all of the excitement and growth along the way. Over the last 13 years, we’ve designed everything from retail and hospitality to industrial and multi-family complexes, but we’re most grateful for the relationships we’ve built.

Alex joined COR3 Design after completing his Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from Clemson University in 2025. During his studies, he developed a strong foundation in construction documentation, detailing, and design technology—skills he now applies daily to support COR3’s diverse commercial projects.
At COR3, Alex assists in creating and refining construction document sets, managing redlines, and performing due diligence to ensure design accuracy and buildability. He is proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D modeling, contributing both technical precision and creative perspective to each project.
Originally from Greenville, Alex is half-Brazilian and fluent in Portuguese, bringing a cultural awareness and global mindset to his work. Outside the office, he enjoys hiking, woodworking, graphic design, and attending local music and community events. Alex has also been recognized on the Clemson University Dean’s List and volunteers with the KROC Center Architecture Club.
