We are thrilled to share that we have started our first Dunkin’ full-service turn key design in Goldsboro, NC. Dunkin’ Donuts opened its first location in 1950, and today there are more than 12,900 locations worldwide. It’s arguably one of the world’s largest coffee and donut chains, famous for its signature donut flavors, deliciously stuffed bagel minis, seasonal specials, and more. To celebrate this project, we thought it would be fun to share four interesting facts about Dunkin’:
- Dunkin’ crafts special donuts reflective of the countries’ local cuisine and culture. For example, in Singapore, you can get wasabi cheese and seaweed cheese donuts.
- Did you know Dunkin’ started selling its Munchkin donut hole treats in 1973? They are so popular that Dunkin’ sells more than 1 billion globally per year.
- Made from 100% Arabica beans sourced from Central and South America, Dunkin’s coffee is a crowd favorite. On average, 2,000 coffee beans make one pound of coffee.
- The original Dunkin’ Donuts is still in operation in Quincy, MA and has been restored to its 1950’s retro style. Through its design, it perfectly blends the past with the future.
